National Scholarship Winner: Huang Jiayi
“I feel that I am as passionate as summer and have great enthusiasm for the things I like.” This is how Huang Jiayi, a 21st grade primary school education major, describes herself. She has never stopped learning. The road ahead is long but the journey is about to begin. This is her spiritual support on the way forward.
Huang Jiayi adheres to the belief of "no pain, no gain", is strict with herself, and always regards learning as her first priority. Her average grade point in her freshman year is 3.68, and her average grade point in her sophomore year is 3.74. She ranked among the best in her two-year major and won the National Inspirational Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. This is the best recognition of her learning achievements.
She is well aware of the principle that "doing is the beginning of knowing, and knowing is the completion of doing". She always insists on combining learning with application, and values practice. She used her summer vacation time to serve as an assistant coach at Baoji Xingdong Times Sports Culture Communication Co., Ltd., assisting coaches in classes and helping to manage class order.
In addition to studying, she actively participated in the "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Through observation of labor education in schools, she proposed a project that combines nature and labor education. As a core member of the team, she led other members of the team Visited multiple national parks for field trips, worked together, and completed the plan brilliantly.
Talking about the most impressive thing, she confessed to reporters that in this competition, the night before the project was submitted, all team members and instructors gathered together to continuously refine the plan and were busy until late at night. .
Know the shortcomings and forge ahead, look at the distant mountains and do your best. Huang Jiayi knows that the path she has chosen will take a long time, but she firmly believes that the road will be long and difficult, and the journey will come soon.
