On October 26, the Sino-Japanese Historical and Cultural Cities Dialogue co-sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Xianyang Municipal People's Government, the Uji Municipal Government of Japan, and the Narita Municipal Government of Japan opened in Xianyang City. The meeting was launched simultaneously online and offline.
Li Xikui, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, delivered a speech at the meeting. He pointed out that history and culture should be used as the starting point to continuously promote a multi-level and wide-area foreign exchange pattern to promote cultural exchanges and people-to-people bonds between China and Japan.
After the meeting, Guo Wei cordially communicated with the students and shared his language learning experience. He said that universities are an important part of promoting the diversification of people-to-people diplomacy, and the exchange of young people between the two countries is also an important way to promote people-to-people consensus.
