12月1On the evening of the same day, the 2017 "music for you" New Year's Concert, jointly sponsored by the Academic Affairs Department, the Youth League Committee, and the Federation of Social Affairs of our school, and hosted by the University Student Art Troupe, was brilliantly performed in the studio hall. Our school’s Chairman Zhang Shuiping, President Han Jiangshui, Director of School Affairs Liu Yi, Minister of Education and Engineering Zhang Baohong, Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Secretary of the Youth League Committee Zhang Heng and other leaders watched the party with teachers and students.
The party was exciting and climaxed one after another.14The programs took turns. Among them, the music "Yunnan Memories" performed by Zhong Ruan and the piano was sometimes soothing and graceful, and sometimes high-pitched and passionate, expressing the deep nostalgia for the past years. The guzheng duet "Dance of the Yi Nationality" combines traditional musical instruments with classical dance. The guzheng has long melody and graceful dance postures, fully displaying the unique cultural charm of the Yi people.
