On the afternoon of May 20, President Dato Mohd Raizwan Osman of the University of Malaysia Selangor and his delegation visited the school for a visit. Guo Wei, Vice President of our school, Wang Mingming, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department, Liu Xiao, Director of the International Exchange Department, and others warmly received the visiting guests.
The guests visited our school’s sand table, school history museum, flight attendant training room, new media and performing arts practical teaching center, and foreign language and culture practical teaching center, and then had discussions with our school staff in the conference room.
Guo Wei warmly welcomed the visit of Principal Datuk Mohd Raizwan Osman and his delegation. He introduced the development history of our school to the guests, as well as the achievements the school has made in talent training, teaching and scientific research, international exchanges and cooperation since its establishment.
Principal Datuk Mohd Raizwan Osman and his delegation expressed their gratitude to our school for their warm reception and highly affirmed our school’s work in broadening students’ international horizons. He said that 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. As the relationship between the two countries continues to develop, educational cooperation is also continuing to deepen.
It is reported that Selangor University is not only one of the oldest private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, but also a state university. He has always promoted higher education in Selangor and made outstanding contributions to Selangor’s education.
