Recently, the National Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the completion results of the National Social Science Fund project in December 2021. A total of 457 project closure applications were submitted across the country, 326 projects were completed, 110 projects were postponed, and 21 projects were terminated.
Associate Professor Ning Dianxia’s research project lasted three years and resulted in the publication of three NTU core papers and a 230,000-word monograph. The project she presided over in-depth analyzed the trends, characteristics and inherent contradictions of capital financialization in all time and space from the perspectives of time and space, aesthetics, and historical reflection, revealed its antinomies, proposed the concept of people's finance, advocated the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and overcame the trend of capital financialization.
The National Social Science Foundation project represents the highest-level and most authoritative scientific research project category in China. It has strict review requirements, strict acceptance of the project, and the pass rate is often not high. The successful conclusion of this project marks that the scientific research strength and level of our school’s scholars have been recognized by domestic peer experts, and is of positive significance for accelerating the construction of our school’s philosophy and social science innovation system.
