On November 12th and 13th, the semi-finals of the 30th English Debate Competition for Foreign Language Majors, sponsored by the Academic Affairs Office of our bet365 sports betting platform and co-organized by the bet365 sports betting platform of English and the bet365 sports betting platform of Advanced Translation, were successfully held in the multi-functional lecture hall of the library. Chen Xiao, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, attended the competition.
After fierce competition, a total of 12 groups of players entered the semi-finals. The competition is divided into three parts: "Statement of Views", "Free Debate" and "Concluding Statement".
After the game, the judges came on stage to comment on the contestants. The judges gave students professional advice on oral pronunciation, speech rhythm, writing skills, speaking etiquette and debate strategies.
