The 2018 Seventh National English Interpretation Live Dealer Games, co-organized by the Translators Association of China and Xi'an Jiaotong University, kicked off. On April 15, the provincial semi-finals of the Live Dealer Games started at the Yifu Foreign Languages Building of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Nearly a hundred graduate students and undergraduate students from more than a dozen universities including Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwest University, Shaanxi Normal University, and Xi'an University of International Studies participated in this Live Dealer Games.
In the Live Dealer Games, Jia Lumin and Zhang Qing, students from the School of English of our school, were calm and composed, and stood out with good results and won the provincial third prize in this Live Dealer Games. The School of English attaches great importance to this Live Dealer Games. Starting from March 19, the School of English has launched a series of selection competitions. All teachers in the translation team of Teacher Wang Wei and Teacher Zhang Jie who have practical interpretation and teaching experience have done sufficient work for this Live Dealer Games.
